Deliverability

Send through a trusted identity you control.

Reaching the inbox is about identity and reputation. Compass sends from your authenticated domain, through a proven delivery path, with the authentication and feedback handling that keep your sends trusted.

Sender identity

A verified identity, not a borrowed one

Trust starts with proving who’s sending. Compass builds on authenticated domains and standards-based email authentication.

Authenticated sender domains

Send from a domain you own and control, established as a verified identity rather than a shared, throwaway address.

DKIM and DMARC

Messages are signed and aligned so receiving servers can confirm they genuinely came from you — the foundation of reaching the inbox.

From-address validation

Compass validates the from-address against your authenticated domain, so you can’t accidentally send as an identity you don’t control.

Delivery path

Built on SendGrid

Compass sends through an integration with SendGrid, a mature, widely trusted delivery infrastructure. You get the reach and reliability of an established sending platform, wrapped in Compass’s identity, consent, and suppression controls — so deliverability and governance work as one system rather than two disconnected tools.

  • SendGrid integration for proven delivery infrastructure
  • Authentication and reputation handled on the Compass side
  • Consent and suppression enforced before anything sends
  • Deliverability records kept for every send
Feedback and enforcement

What comes back matters as much as what goes out

Good deliverability is a loop. Compass processes the signals that return and enforces the consequences automatically.

Bounce processing

Hard and soft bounces are captured and acted on, keeping invalid addresses out of future sends.

Complaint processing

Spam complaints are ingested and honored, protecting your reputation with the mailbox providers.

Unsubscribe handling

Opt-outs are processed automatically and reflected on the customer record, so a “no” stays a no.

Suppression enforcement

Bounced, complained, and unsubscribed addresses are suppressed and enforced at send time — not merely flagged.

Accountability

Deliverability records you can point to

Every send leaves a trail: what was sent, from which identity, what the receiving server said, and how bounces, complaints, and unsubscribes were handled. Because this all ties back to the unified customer profile, the delivery and consent state of any customer is something you can actually look up.

  • Per-send deliverability records
  • Bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe outcomes on the profile
  • Suppression state you can inspect per customer
